The Social Contract is a hip-hop label/collective of like-minded creatives based in North Carolina that was formed by Rob: Earth-One and Malcolm Chester in 2015. 


Rob: Earth-One

is a Hip-Hop artist and co-founder of The Social Contract. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he moved to North Carolina at a young age and has been there ever since. He specializes in Hip-Hop/Rap but has an affinity for many different genres. Some of his main influences are Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Nas,

Malcolm Chester

is a Hip-Hop artist and co-founder of The Social Contract. He is a Fayetteville, NC native and cites Lupe Fiasco, A Tribe Called Quest, and Kid Cudi as some of his strongest influences. In addition to music, he is also a very talented visual artist and has a Black Belt in Taekwondo.

Mike Lightz


is a sound designer, producer, and engineer from Virginia Beach, VA. His primary influences are Childish Gambino and Frank Ocean, as well as the bands Local Natives and Two Door Cinema Club.
In May of 2017, he released his second album, 'Love Is Blue', which he produced in its entirety.

Soledad Rodriguez

is a visual artist originally from Virginia Beach, VA. In 2014, she began pursuing graphic art and it has since become her medium of choice.
She creates/sells prints of her original work, as well as commissions and personalized logos/graphics under the brand, sunshit.

Miko X

is a fresh sound coming out of the trenches of an East-Coast music scene. Born in Queens, NY and raised in Fayetteville, NC, X is a product of Northern as well as Southern culture and upbringing, which he carries over into his music. He is influenced heavily by Chicago consciousness, NY lyricism & swagger, Indie vibes, and Reggae grooves.
A young eclectic MC with the mind of a mogul, he is determined to continue putting Carolina music on the map alongside the rest of his crew.

Aliyah Loca

is a singer with roots from all over the US from being a military brat. Her musical background extends from her competitively playing piano at the age of 8 to her acting at her local theatre in high school.
Some of her influences include the talents of J. Cole (an artist from her hometown), Beyoncé, and the deep vocals of Amy Winehouse.
